I am new to Adobe Flex development environment. My strengths are with Geographic Information Science (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS). However, Adobe Flex has created an environment that allows non-developer to customize ESRI’s Sample Viewer with ease. I have been able to add widgets to the site without pulling my hair out. Really, I am the person who will scream in the room with excitement because I was able to add a picture to a website.

I am not a proficient developer. However, I am encouraging others to use Adobe Flex to build your GIS website. If you choose to use widgets from ESRI’s Resource website, I strongly recommend always follow the readme.txt file and the folder structure.
